The UK-based estate agent Winkworth is piloting the use of NFC tags on the keys of its properties at the Knightsbridge, Chelsea & Belgravia branch so house hunters can simply tap it for more information about the place they are viewing.

Using TAMOCOs NFC tech, which doesnt require the user to download an app to access the content, the company hopes to banish the days of printed particulars or not having access to the right details at the right time. The user will be prompted to download a pdf with the relevant property information of each place they view.

Winkworth will also get access unprecedented data about their customers via the TAMOCO dashboard. They will be able to see when and where the information is accessed along with finding out which phone owners choose which houses. This could help them to tailor further product offerings.

The company believes this is the first NFC use case in the real estate market globally.
