Android Pay Finally Signs Up Chase

Nearly a year after its initial launch in the US, Android Pay has finally signed up Chase, one of the countrys largest banks.

As of today, the mobile payments service will support 30 different Chase Visa cards – including its debit card, Slate and Freedom credit cards, and brand tie-ups with the likes of Disney, Marriott and British Airways.

Meanwhile, in the UK, Santander and TSB have been added to the list of supported banks, due to roll out over the coming weeks.

Android Pay has also been working to broaden its support on the merchant side. Walgreens has integrated its Balance Rewards loyalty program with the service at over 8,100 locations, and Android will be the first mobile wallet to integrate with Ubers Payment Rewards discounts programme. Dunkin’ Donuts and Chili’s have also both signed up to integrating their loyalty programs in the near future.

Finally, on the web, Android Pay will be available on sites including Groupon.com and 1-800-Flowers.
