LOccitane launches a virtual experience to transport users to Provence

French beauty brand LOccitane En Provence is giving its customers the chance to visit the lavender-scented hills of La France Profonde – without looking up from their smartphones.

The company has just launched a digital experience in partnership with virtual world specialist, Emperia. Customers can visit the LOccitaine web or mobile site and be transported to a virtual domain where they can explore the brand and its key products and ingredients. The experience will include videos, facts, and interactive content on skincare, fragrance, and body care.

Users can roam lavender fields on a bicycle, fly on a hot air balloon to Corsica, have a picnic on the Almond Orchards or discover the Shea Butter collection in the African scenery of Burkina Faso.
