AppNexus
Ad tech firm AppNexus has added two C-level executives to its roster. Ryan Christensen and Ben John have been named chief operating officer and chief technology officer respectively.

Christensen – previously SVP & GM for the companys publisher technology group, with a background at Zynga – will now oversee strategy & operations, product, services and client success for AppNexus. John has been promoted from his role as SVP, engineering, and will be responsible for all tech divisions, including architecture, product development, platform innovation, engineering and technology operations.

AppNexus has also appointed former SAP marketing executive Michele Weber as global head of marketing, and Tom Shields – co-founder and CEO of Yieldex, acquired by AppNexus last April – as chief strategy officer.

Criteo
Performance marketing technology company Criteo has appointed Elie Kanaan as its executive vice president of marketing.

Kanaan was previously VP of marketing, EMEA, and has held positions at SAP, Mercury and Oracle. In his new role, he will lead Criteo’s product marketing, marketing and communications initiatives across the globe.

MEC Wavemaker
MEC Wavemaker has made a series of promotions to boost its senior team.

Ben Bradley, previously a business director at the content agency, has been named head of sports & entertainment partnerships. Account directors Terri Squibb and Angela Soteriou have also been promoted to the role of business director. Squibb will lead the Colgate-Palmolive, Henkel and B&Q accounts, while Soteriou will lead Vodafone, Beiersdorf, and Lloyds Banking Group.

Neustar
Neustar, a provider of real-time information services, has named Luis Chaves and Sven Bagemihl as managing directors of Neustar MarketShare, Chaves in the UK and Bagemihl in Germany.

Based in London and Hamburg respectively,  the two will be responsible for expanding Neustar MarketShare’s presence in each country.

Chaves was previously the companys VP of strategy, EMEA, and before that held roles at Nielsen, PwC and Carat. Bagemihl joins from search intelligence company Captify, where he was managing director.
