Mobile gambling firm Probability has selected GeoComply to provide geo-location services relating to its customers using iPhone and Android handsets and iPads. GeoComply’s solution will enable Probability to establish where its players are logging in from, to ensure regulatory compliance.
“Players expect to be able to wager on their games of choice on their device of choice”, says GeoComply CEO, Anna Sainsbury. “However, conventional geolocation technologies often make it very hard for operators to know with confidence where their players are coming from. In the case of regulated markets, we provide that assurance for them.”
Probability CEO, Charles Cohen, says that GeoComply was chosen because: “they understand not only the regulatory and social responsibility standards we adhere to, but also the absolute priority of giving the player a seamless customer experience and where all the ‘hard yards’ required for the geolocation are done in the background.”
Probability Games was founded in 2004, has more than 1m customers, and takes over 13m bets via mobile each month.
