Fashion shopping site Shopstyle.co.uk has launched a fashion shopping app for the iPad. Called ShopStyle Mobile, the free app gives shoppers the chance to shop on the move from over 2,000 fashion, home and beauty brands, including Top Shop, Dorothy Perkins, Marks and Spencer, My Wardrobe, New Look, House of Fraser, John Lewis and many more.

The app enables users to browse the latest fashions by brand or category. Users can scroll through multiple products at once or see each close-up in the gallery view. There’s also a keyword search and a ‘Sale’ filter that shows only those items that are discounted. This is available for all items, products within one category or through a keyword search. Items can also be filtered by price range. Users can also save favourite products, email or tweet details of them to friends, and buy direct from the retailer by tapping the Buy button to go straight to the shop’s purchase page.

“The iPad is going to be the ultimate handbag accessory for any style conscious woman and it’s this audience who love shopping for the best of British and international fashion on the move,” says ShopStyle director, Shannon Edwards.

ShopStyle UK launched in September 2008. In April this year, it introduced ShopSense, a free service that enables media owners and bloggers to generate revenue from their online content. There’s also a ShopStyle iPhone app.
