Stephanie Gottlieb opens virtual jewellery store in the metaverse

Celebrity jewellery designer Stephanie Gottlieb has opened a virtual retail store in the metaverse. Founder of her eponymous fine jewellery and bridal brand, Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry, Gottlieb is continuing her efforts to modernize fine jewelry for today’s consumer by revolutionizing the traditional jewellery shopping process. 

Created by virtual eCommerce platform Obsess, the store transports shoppers to a rainbow-colored jewellery dreamland filled with endless immersive experiences – virtual jewelry try-ons, exclusive product launches, styling tips and tricks from Stephanie herself, interactive games, and much more.

Gottlieb started her brand via social media, growing a strong customer base over the years and making a name for herself in the luxury jewelry space. With over 400,000 followers on Instagram, the virtual store brings not only the brand’s loyalists a new experience, but introduces new customers to the rainbow world of Stephanie Gottlieb seamlessly.

The store’s first room features 15 best-selling pieces. This room will also have educational videos with tips and tricks to get ready for the sale including: how to build the perfect necklace layer; how to measure your wrist size; how to figure out your ring size at home; how to create the perfect ear party, and how to build your Slider Bangle.

There are also Instagram filters that allow users to virtually try on three of Stephanie’s signature looks. Upon entering the room, shoppers will be redirected to Instagram, where they can select from the SG filters to try on the pieces and share with their social community.

There’s also an Electric Hoop Tunnel that users can slide down to arrive in the Gemstone Cave. Here, users are prompted to navigate through the cave to the back of the room, arriving at the Pick Your Pantone Wall. This offers shoppers a total of 50 enamel colors that are exclusively available to virtual store customers.

As part of the store’s unveiling, shoppers have an exclusive opportunity to unlock early access to the brand’s highly-anticipated once-a-year sale through an interactive game in the store.
