Bugaboo Pushchairs to Open Up Mobile-first APIs

Bugaboo has partnered with Apigee, the cloud-based API management platform, to recreate its back-end operations for the 21st century.
Using Apigee, Bugaboo has been able to bring all of its data services into one API platform, enabling it to ditch clunky legacy systems and prepare for a digital future.
The company can now offer better app features, like product recommendations based on past purchases and unified log in across devices. It will also enable easy in-house app development in the future.
A new developer portal will expose all of this data for use by developers, bloggers and other interested parties, potentially to create new products for the company. 
Apigees platform is already in use by 20 per cent of the Fortune 100.
