Mobile advertising agency Fetch Media has announced the appointment of Richard Downey to the role of business development director.
Downey joins from Dennis Publishing, where he was publishing director of the company’s fitness division. in his 13 years’ service at Dennis, Downey worked on the gaming, fitness, online gambling, and digital magazines markets. He also spent 18 months in India setting up Dennis Media Transasia, Dennis’ Indian joint venture.
“I am extremely happy to be joining Fetch Media at such an exciting stage of their growth,” says Downey. “I feel very fortunate that I have been able to make the switch to mobile with such an innovative and entrepreneurial company. My job now is to spread the gospel of mobile and get clients as excited about its potential as we are here.”
