High street pub chain Yates’s has launched a mobile app with the functionality of its website. The app, designed by Clock, is available on iOS and Android, enables users to search for nearby Yates’s pubs and browse facilities, opening times and contact information. App users can set theur local as the start-up screen to quickly view what’s on at the pub.
“The launch of the Yates’s app is the latest digital step for the brand, creating a multi-platform ‘window’ into our pubs”, says Lisa Stoddart, head of digital at Stonegate Pub Company, operator of Yates’s. “Our customers are digitally astute, and demand the latest information whilst on the go, which is just what we aim to deliver.”
