Accenture has signed an alliance agreement with app performance management firm Crittercism, which will become a reseller for Crittercism’s mAPM solution as part of its Application Factory offering.
Crittercisms solutions help enterprises understand how their apps are performing across different devices, OS and networks, and what could be causing crashes and response time issues.
Accenture has also made a minority investment in Crittercism and taken a seat on the companys Advisory Board.
“Apps are an increasingly important and complex element of enterprise mobility strategies, so we’re thrilled to be formalizing our relationship with Crittercism, which is so innovative in the field of app performance management,” said Jin Lee, senior managing director at Accenture Mobility. “This alliance will allow us to integrate the performance monitoring tool that Crittercism operates on tens of thousands of applications, with the Accenture Application Factory. As our clients are advancing their app strategies, we can now offer them timely insights into their apps’ performance, and help them to drive a consistently good experience for their users, which is vital to success.”
Terms of the investment in Crittercism were not disclosed.
