Adverity promotes CMO Harriet Durnford-Smith the role of COO

Integrated data platform Adverity has promoted its CMO, Harriet Durnford-Smith, to Chief Operating Officer, with immediate effect.

In her new position, Durnford-Smith will be responsible for operational alignment, translating and delivering business strategy and overseeing the People, Marketing, and Workplace teams.

She will also continue to lead the marketing team and use her data-driven mindset to propel Adverity forward.

Durnford-Smith joined the company in October 2019 as VP of Marketing and Growth, rising to the role of CMO in June 2021. 

Commenting on her promotion, Durnford-Smith, said: “The skills I have developed as a marketer will be crucial to working with multiple stakeholders and different business functions. They have prepared me to foster a culture of growth and navigate the challenges and opportunities for Adverity.

“I look forward to driving Adverity in its next era of growth and ensuring a standard of excellence across all aspects of the business.”
