International healthcare group Bupa has launched Health Finder, a free iOS app giving users access to Bupa’s health factsheets, which are already viewed online by over 20m people a year.The app includes a location-based search for specialists, hospitals, and Bupa centres. For users with Bupa health insurance, it also provides a step-by-step guide to the claims process, and stores membership and adviser details.
According to Bupa Health Pulse research, 7 in 10 people in the UK now use the internet to find health information.
Sue Moore, Bupas marketing and customer development director, says: “We are always looking for opportunities to improve our customers’ experience, and we’re confident that the Health Finder app will help them make the most of their Bupa policy.”
