Disney Cruise Line launches new ad campaign

Disney Cruise Line has launched a new digital out-of-home campaign to show the magic of Disney at sea.

Created by Havas London and Disney’s in-house team, the campaign aims to let more people know about Disney Cruise Line by showing how close guests can get to their favourite Characters and stories while on board.

The ads feature Mickey, Minnie, Woody, and Stitch playfully looking through portholes, with the tagline ‘Get closer to your best friends’.

The campaign is now running across over 3,000 outdoor locations in London and southeast England.

Prose on Pixels handled production, with media support from Zenith UK.Angelica Costantini, vice president of Disney Destinations International UK and EMEA said:  “We are delighted to have the Disney Fantasy sailing out of Southampton for the first time this summer, bringing our Disney magic closer to home for UK guests. It has been great to work with Havas to raise awareness of these UK sailings, and see our brand brought to life in an innovative way through out-of- home advertising.”

Nothing gets you closer to the Characters than being at sea with them for a few days, so we wanted to capture that round the clock, up close fun. Really simple, playful posters that truly burst into life with some fantastic digital placements too.”
