Mobile advertising firm Sofialys has struck a deal to become the exclusive mobile advertising sales partner in France for web and mobile instant messaging (IM) aggregator service, eBuddy.
eBuddy enables users to chat for free in one, aggregated interface across all major IM networks including AIM, Facebook Chat, Google Talk, Hyves, ICQ, MySpace, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger. It serves over 2bn mobile ads globally every month, including almost 100m in France, across its mobile IM platforms, including the native eBuddy for iPhone apps.
Sofialys says it will leverage its direct ad sales capacity and its online marketplace ADITIC to maximize revenues directly from the eBuddy inventory in France. The two companies are also planning to collaborate within additional international markets and regions where the ADITIC advertising network is particularly strong – notably throughout the rest of Europe and across Asia.
“This partnership is further testament to ADITIC’s growing force and reputation, on both domestic and international markets,” says Julien Oudart, VP sales and marketing at Sofialys. “eBuddy represents the perfect partner, and enables us to leverage the growing popularity of instant messaging services and extend our ever-expanding ad network to new and as yet untapped markets.”
