Emma Williams joins Listen as Director of Marketing and Partnerships

Leading podcast production company, Listen, has announced the appointment of Emma Williams as Director of Marketing and Partnerships.

This newly created role positions Williams at the forefront of the company’s commercial and growth strategy as it continues to expand its visualised podcast slate, original productions, and its marketing consultancy division, Listen Labs.

Williams brings 15 years of PR and media expertise to the role, including a standout three-year tenure at The Diary of a CEO, where she played a pivotal role in driving the podcast’s rapid rise from startup to global success

She also spearheaded the podcast’s distribution expansion to 14 airlines, including BA, Emirates, and JetBlue, and launched the first video podcast fast channel on Samsung TV Plus in the UK, Germany, Austria, and The Netherlands.

In her new role, Williams will lead the company’s efforts to grow and enhance its existing podcast slate while driving fresh creative and commercial opportunities for talent-led original podcasts. In addition, she will oversee Listen Labs, the company’s premier podcast consultancy, which serves clients like Netflix, The Telegraph, and Sheerluxe.

Her extensive experience in forging partnerships with top brands such as WHOOP, The Financial Times, and Mercedes will also be instrumental in driving innovative collaborations for Listen.
