Facebook Trials its Own Mobile Ad Network

Facebook is testing a targeted ad platform, which will bring targeted ads based on its user data to third-party apps.
Its the latest in a series of similar trials – the difference this time, according to Facebooks Sriram Krishnan, is that “this current test is more like a mobile ad network in that we are working directly with a small number of advertisers and publishers rather than an outside ad-serving platform.”
Its a strictly limited trial for now, though Facebook promising more details in the coming months.
