Fossil Introduces New Smartwatches to its Brands

Fossil SmartwatchFossil Group has announced it is set to double its wearable production to 300 products with the introduction of new smartwatches from several of its brands. Armani Exchange, Fossil, Skagen and Misfit all plan to release smartwatches in 2017.

Armani Exchange’s Connected collection of hybrid smartwatches feature standard faces with incorporated smart touchscreens. It features auto-time, notifications, activity and sleep tracking, alarms, music controls, and the ability to take pictures from your smartphone’s camera. It promises to stay linked to Android or iPhone devices up to 84ft away.

Fossil has introduced Fossil Q Accomplice to extend its Q hybrid line. It is the slimmest designed case in the range so far and supports up to three customisable pushers, that can be fully customised through the Fossil Q app. Fossil also introduced the Q Modern Pursuit and Q Grant.

Skagen introduced the Jorn and Hald hybrid smartwatches – offering thinner case sizes with the intention of appealing to the modern aesthetic. While Misfit unveiled the Vapor – the brand’s first touchscreen smartwatch featuring heart rate, GPS, and standalone music functionality.

“Customers crave connectivity that doesn’t compromise style. We’re creating more options to seamlessly integrate desired tech features into our customers’ style and lifestyle,” said Greg McKelvey, chief strategy and digital officer at Fossil Group.

In 2016, Fossil Group launhed over 140 wearables throughout 40 countries and in 20 languages.
