Google incorporates AI tools on mid-tier Pixel

Google has incorporated a range of AI tools already offered in its most advanced smartphones in the upcoming Pixel 8a.

The device, which is now available for pre-orders, will now come with Google AI assistant Gemini, alongside picture editing tools to fix blurry images and sound editing tools such as Audio Magic EraserTop, which has previously featured on Google’s devices.

The device also features Best Take, Magic Editor and Audio Magic Eraser, and takes advantage of the latest productivity and safety features like Google’s Circle to Search, Assistant Summarise and Crash Detection.

The Pixel8A is available in a range of colours; Obsidian, Porcelain and Bay all with 128GB of device storage and uses Google’s most recent in-house Tensor G3 chip.

It also has a 6.1-inch display, 4500mAh battery, dual camera with a 64MP main unit and runs Android 14.
