Ikea has teamed up with the dating app Breeze to offer singles a unique in-store dating experience centered around their sleeping habits.
Breeze will select nine couples from London, Manchester, and Edinburgh—matched between 5 February and 10 February—to enjoy their first date at an Ikea store.
On Valentine’s Day, the chosen couples will share a romantic meatball dinner for two at Ikea.
Participants will be paired based on their sleep compatibility, considering factors such as mattress firmness, preferred temperature, and duvet thickness.
Tania Douglas, Ikea’s commercial activity leader, said: “At Ikea, we believe everyone deserves a good night’s sleep, so we’re excited to team up with Breeze to help those looking for love to find someone they can sleep soundly with.
“We’ve used our Six Sleep Essentials to help lucky singles find their sleep soulmate.”
Breeze co-founder Marsha Goei said: “Breeze is dedicated to helping people find meaningful connections in real life. We’re excited to partner with Ikea to create a truly special dating experience that celebrates the magic of finding someone who is genuinely compatible.”
