From April 9th to 12th, Brits are invited to take a break from their daily routines and revisit a simpler time.
Almost a quarter of Brits (22%) have nostalgic memories of picking movies in-store, which makes it no surprise that Blockbuster was ranked among the top 5 most missed high-street stores by Brits. New research from KitKat reveals that stressed-out Brits are reaching their breaking point due to their inability to disconnect, with a third (35%) blaming their phones. Additionally, 3 in 10 people report feeling uneasy and anxious when their phone is out of reach, and nearly three-quarters (73%) say it’s straining their relationships. “Whether it’s with friends, family or loved ones, we want to take the nation back to when times were simpler and reclaim the joy of picking out a movie to watch together. “By KitKat sharing bars partnering with Blockbuster to take cosy nights in together to another level, we hope that we can help Brits properly savour their downtime and break better.”
