Lucozade Sport app offers prizes to users for getting up and moving

Lucozade Sport Made to Move appLucozade Sport has launched a fitness tracking app, which offers users the chance to win prizes for moving.

As part of its ‘Made to Move’ campaign, which aims to get 1m people moving by 2020, the Lucozade Sport Made to Move app syncs with the user’s existing tracking apps, and gives them one entry into a daily prize draw for every 5,000 steps they make. Daily prizes include free passes to PureGym, free entry into Tough Mudder and free sessions at Goals. If users surpass 5,000 steps for three days in a week, they’re entered into a weekly draw that includes trips to Australia, San Francisco, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, as well as tickets to sporting events and concerts. Users can also enter Lucozade Sport bottle codes in the app to increase their chances of winning.

“We know that the majority of the nation wants to lead a more active life, but we appreciate that it’s sometimes hard to find the motivation to get out there and move more,” said Steven Hind, marketing director for Lucozade Sport. “We want to help people to enjoy the benefits that come with leading a more active life, which is why we have designed this app. We hope that it will provide people with an additional incentive to make moving more a part their everyday lives – whether it’s a cycle around the park or taking on a new running challenge. Simply put, the more you move, the more chances you have of winning.”

The prizes are only available to those over 18 years of age. The app is available from both the Play Store and App Store until 23 July 2017.

Meanwhile, Lucozade Energy has been distributing limited edition contactless bottles that provide Londoners with one free journey on the Tube. The extension of the drink’s ‘Find Your Flow’ campaign has run from 30 May and ends today (2 June).
