Matalan’s new campaign celebrates the chaos of family life

Matalan is kicking off its 2025 spring campaign by embracing the chaotic yet memorable moments of family life.

The new campaign, created in collaboration with McCann Manchester, focuses on the unpredictability of everyday family situations, celebrating those “best worst bits” that often turn into the most cherished memories.

The campaign features two 30-second spots that highlight relatable spring and summer moments. From a giant wasp causing mayhem at a garden party to getting lost on the way to a wedding, the ads capture the fun and chaos that often comes with family events.

The ad will run until the end of April, across TV, radio, out-of-home, digital, and in-store. Media planning and buying were managed by Havas.
