Microsoft Picks TargetSpot to Monetise Xbox Music

Digital audio ad network TargetSpot has been selected to deliver in-stream advertising for Microsofts Xbox Music service, available as an app for Window Phone 8, Surface tablets, and the Xbox 360.

 The partnership will enable Microsoft to better monetise the music streaming, discovery and purchasing service.

“Our research shows that Digital Audio listeners consume their content across multiple music services and across multiple devices,” said Eyal Goldwerger, CEO of TargetSpot. “We are thrilled to add Microsoft’s Xbox Music service to our expansive network to allow our advertisers to reach even more of their target audiences.”

The TargetSpot network enables advertisers to target internet radio listeners based upon a variety of factors, including geography down to the zip code level, time of day and personal listening preferences.
