IMImobile has created National Rail’s first purpose-built iPad application.
Its features build on the functionality offered on the iPhone app, adding a customisable home screen, a Twitter feed of travel updates and push notifications for all delayed or cancelled trains.
The company says that the real-time features have been created for those people who use their tablets on the move, while journey planning and favourite journeys will satisfy those that book and look at home.
