Odeeo has secured $5 million to expand its global operations and improve its non-intrusive audio ads for mobile games.
The funding round, led by Atinum Investments, will enable the company to strengthen its presence in key markets such as North America, where it is increasing efforts to connect advertisers with millions of mobile gamers through seamless and innovative audio ads.
This new investment supports Odeeo’s ongoing expansion in North America, following its recent entry into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region through a collaboration with Evolution Media Group.
The company is also eyeing growth in significant Asian markets, including Korea, Japan, and Vietnam, as it builds its influence in the global mobile gaming industry, it revealed.
“We are bringing in-game audio ads to the forefront of advertising in a way that doesn’t disrupt gameplay, which we believe is a game-changer for brands,” Co-Founder and President Elad Stern said.
“A lot of mobile users don’t see themselves as gamers, but they are gamers. Everybody is playing. For us, we are bringing audio ads to this table and educating the brands and agencies about the power of gaming and how what we bring is less intrusive as a solution. It really is a mission for us.”
He added: “In-game audio has become much more mainstream in the past two years, and nowhere is more critical to adoption than the US market.
“I’m very excited to be moving to New York to open Odeeo’s first full American office and work with the US team to champion in-game audio solutions to the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies, many of whom are already partners of ours. We have tremendous leadership in place in the states, and we anticipate investing even more to educate the market and champion in-game audio in the coming months.”
