Football club Real Madrid has released an iOS app, Talking Players. Developed by Imagine800, the app syncs recorded speech to an animated video of a Real Madrid player, so users can have Cristiano Ronaldo wishing their friends happy birthday.
The app works on a freemium model; one player is available for free with the download, and then a choice of three other players to be purchased. With this latest addition, Real Madrid have five official apps to their name. 
“We are thrilled to release this new app to our 300m worldwide fans. We believe it will bring many hours of enjoyment and laughter as they create and share videos with each other,” says Real Madrids new media manager, Pedro Duarte.
