Spanish mobile-first bank Bnext has launched a rewards feature that enables its users to save money when shopping from a range of brands, including Alibaba-owned eCommerce store AliExpress; deals firm Groupon; and online clothing and accessories retailer, Black Limba.
The program is powered by mCommerce technology company Button, whose technology is integrated into Bnext’s app. As the bank’s users use the rewards program, their shopping experience will become more personalised, and they will receive more cash back as they make more purchases. They will also have the access to upgrade to a premium account to access more lucrative offers.
“Bnext is setting a whole new standard of an alternative to traditional banking – by being direct and transparent, we are offering each user a personalized experience that’s tailored to their needs and interests,” said Bnext co-founder and chief product officer, Juan Antonio Rullán. “Through building a commerce program with Button, we are furthering that personalization-centered mission by not only offering our users greater utility in our app, but by also empowering them to save money.”
Wang Mingqiang, general Manager of AliExpress, added: “AliExpress is committed to being a lifestyle platform for consumers worldwide, and partnering with Button and Bnext takes us one step closer towards securing our footprint in Europe. By enabling more consumers in the region to be able to discover AliExpress in the Bnext app powered by Button’s technology, we’re giving them a frictionless journey towards purchasing the products that they love.”
