Specsavers taps into Oasis reunion hype 

Specsavers is riding the wave of Oasis reunion fever with two cheeky activations that blend its signature humour with health messaging.

In support of its national audiology campaign The Whole Conversation, Specsavers took to the streets of Manchester on July 18 during the Oasis Heaton Park gigs.

Teaming up with local creator Jack Wood, the brand launched a playful “hear-tch-hiking” stunt- highlighting spots where fans could hear the concert without a ticket (if their hearing was sharp enough).

The campaign continued in London over the weekend with a sight-led OOH activation at Wembley Park tube station.

Timed with the band’s stadium shows, the billboard delivers a cheeky nod to Britpop history with the line: “The original Blur rival.”

The OOH has already caught fans’ attention, with Oasis themselves sharing it on Instagram.
