Supercell teams up with Gordon Ramsay for new ad

Supercell has launched a new ad featuring TV chef Gordon Ramsay.

Created by the Stockholm office of Uncommon Creative Studio, the campaign centres on a 60-second ad in which Ramsay shares that the secret to his serenity is Supercell’s ‘Hay Day’ mobile game.

“We’ve always known that Hay Day is a place of relaxation and calm, even for one of the most fiery individuals in entertainment. Meanwhile, we can’t wait for players to meet virtual Gordon Ramsay in our game and have fun building up their own farming utopia,” said Maya Hofree, Hay Day GM.

Ramsay added: “People will be shocked to see me as a character in such a tranquil game, but that’s exactly the point – Hay Day shows that anyone, no matter who they are, can find a bit of harmony in the chaos.”

The film follows Supercell’s previous star-studded campaign, “Squad Up,” released in May last year to promote its ‘Squad Busters’ game, which featured Chris Hemsworth and Christina Ricci.
