Tesco showcases ‘best combo’ Meal Deal in new ad

Tesco has launched a new campaign celebrating the iconic status of its Meal Deal.

Created in collaboration with BBH London, the social-first campaign showcases the UK’s unique relationship with the Meal Deal through a vibrant 60-second film, capturing the full range of its diverse offerings.

Directed by Otis Dominique and produced by BBH’s Black Sheep Studios, ‘Tesco Meal Deal – Your Best Combo, Made Better’ features Meal Deal enthusiasts from all across British society explaining why their combo is the ultimate choice.

The campaign will run for the next four weeks on social platforms like TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.

Tesco UK marketing director, Murray Bisschop, stated: “The Tesco Meal Deal is hugely popular with our customers, and we wanted to let them know we have made it even better.

“With millions of possible combinations available in our stores, recent ingredient improvements, and over 20 new mains added, the Tesco Meal Deal has something for everyone.”

BBH London’s associate creative director, Breige Donaghy, added: “When this brief came in, I knew it was a chance to give the Tesco Meal Deal the iconic treatment it deserves.

“Every Brit has a combo they swear by, and reflecting this in a fun way was the only direction I wanted to take. PS – it’s prawn mayo sandwich, BBQ Hula Hoops, and a Coke. End of.”
