Thinkbox launches free TV ad companion

Thinkbox, the marketing body for commercial TV companies in the UK, has launched its first ever app, featuring the facts, figures and thinking on TV advertising. The iPad app includes viewing data from BARB, case studies, ad galleries and research into the effectiveness of advertising.

It is available free from the App store and was designed by ORM for anyone involved or interested in TV advertising, including advertisers, media planners and buyers, agencies and journalists. 

Peter Gough, ORM’s founding partner, said: “As far as we’re aware, the Thinkbox app is unlike any other B2B app and we’re immensely proud of having developed it. What we’ve created is a mixture of design and utility which is all about exploration and discovery. It draws together lots of different strands into a single interface, from AV to data feeds to opinion to news to trends analysis.

“B2B is the new frontier in app development and we’re hoping that what we’ve done with Thinkbox will encourage other businesses to think about the huge potential for B2B apps.”
