TikTok rolls out Share to TikTok SDK with seven launch partner apps

TikTok has launched its ‘Share to TikTok’ SDK, the first feature released as part of the TikTok for Developers program, which will introduce new tools for third party apps and developers to integrate with TikTok.

Share to TikTok enables third party apps to integrate directly with TikTok, giving their users the ability to edit their videos in the apps they like using, and then upload them to TikTok.

There are seven launch partner apps that have integrated the SDK: Adobe Premiere Rush, an app for creating and sharing online videos. Plotaverse, which enables user to animate any image in minutes, while adding video overlays for next level effects. Fuse.it, an ugmented reality app for online creators that allows the user to insert characters into their videos and interact with them. Medal, which enables users to record gaming highlights on their PC and send them to their phone. Momento GIF Maker, which creates GIFs from the photos stored on the user’s phone. PicsArt, a photo and video editing app. And Enlight Videoleap, a video creation app.

TikTok said that by engaging with the TikTok SDK, third party developers will not only provide a new channel for creators to share their creations, but also expand the reach of their own platform through specified partner hashtags.
