Tinder teams up with Bridget Jones new ad

Tinder has announced an official partnership with Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.

The film, which follows Bridget as she reenters the dating world—this time with a new Tinder profile—arrives in UK cinemas on 13th February.

To mark the occasion, Tinder is launching a social media campaign featuring its own real-life Bridget Jones. The content series will follow her dating journey as she embraces 2025 with confidence, much like her on-screen counterpart.

The first vlog in Tinder’s Bridget Jones series is now live across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, featuring an homage to Bridget Jones’s Diary’s iconic opening sequence. More diary-style updates will be released in the coming weeks.

In her own words, real-life Bridget said: “The OG Bridget paved the way for all of us girls navigating the joys of dating, and now it’s my turn. I’m excited to dive into the world of Tinder with an open mind, a hopeful heart, and some quirky flirting techniques. Will I meet my own Mr. Darcy? Who knows, but either way, join me on this fun ride—I promise to share all of the highs and laughs.”

Joanna Pons, Senior Marketing Director at Tinder comments: “The Bridget Jones franchise has long been synonymous with modern romance, and as the UK’s most popular dating app for under-30s, we’re thrilled to be the official film partner for this iconic final chapter.

“With the help of our real-life Bridget, we’re looking forward to sharing the exciting possibilities that can start when you meet someone on Tinder—whether it’s finding yourself, meeting new people or even your soulmate!”
