Tweet-a-Coffee with Starbucks

Twitter users in the US can now send fellow tweeters a $5 Starbucks e-gift voucher by linking their coffee loyalty card with their social account.
After linking their Twitter and Starbucks accounts, users just tweet @tweetacoffee with the @handle of the recipient, who receives a link to the reward. The receiver can either show the voucher on their handset to a team member in store, load it into the Starbucks app or print it out.
The first 100,000 customers who tweet a coffee using a Visa card up to 6 November will also receive a $5 Starbucks Card e-gift themselves, thanks to a sponsorship deal with the payment service provider. 
Starbucks loyalty card holders can already send gifts on Facebook and via the iPhone app. The Twitter option is initially only launching in beta.
