Premiering on 12 August, the series, “Second-hand Showdown”, includes six 12-minute episodes available on Channel 4’s YouTube channel and six 25-minute episodes airing on E4 and Channel 4’s on-demand service.
Channel 4, Content Solutions Leader, Rupinder Downie, said: “It has been amazing to work with Vinted once again to bring to life this equally ambitious and entertaining second series. Debuting on digital before living on E4 demonstrates the breadth of touch points that Channel 4 can offer brands and aligns with our fast forward strategy.”
Vinted, Reach Media Director, Linas Paulikas, added: “The evolution of Second-Hand Showdown has been fantastic, as we celebrate not only second-hand fashion, but also the people who engage with second-hand fashion.
“Last year’s series came at a time when conscious consumption was at an all time high, and were thrilled to see content that inspires viewers to use Vinted and unleash the potential of their wardrobes.
“This year we have extended that messaging, showing how the platform can not only extend an item’s life-cycle but also rejuvenate someone’s authentic and unique style at a fraction of the cost, transforming how people buy and sell clothes.”
