Home décor and furniture website Wayfair has announced it will open its first brick-and-mortar store in Natick, Massachusetts later this year. The full-service store, which will be located in the Natick Mall, will have its grand-opening in fall, and will provide customers with access to home design experts and complimentary design consultations.
“With the opening of our new retail store, we are offering our customers a new way to enjoy Wayfair’s exceptional shopping experience as we continue to transform the way people shop for their homes,” said Niraj Shah, CEO, co-founder and co-chairman, Wayfair. “We look forward to inviting our customers further into the world of Wayfair, welcoming them to step inside our newest shopping experience guided by the knowledgeable support and expertise of our in-store design team.”
Customers will be able to bring home items from Wayfair’s collection, have items delivered to their homes, or place an online order for something that was not available at the Natick location.
Before Wayfair’s first store opens, the company will launch four pop-up shops this summer. The pop-up’s will only offer a fraction of the full store’s services, including in-store purchases, decorative accents, wall décor and seasonal pieces. Wayfair has previously tested both pop-up shops and an outlet connected to its Kentucky warehouse.
