WhatsApp Adds Voice Call Functionality

WhatsApp has added a voice call feature to its Android messaging app.
The latest update to the app, v2.12.5, introduces a tabbed layout, breaking the apps functionality into three parts: Chats, Contacts and Calls. The latter enables the user to select any contact who also has the Android app installed and call them over a wi-fi or mobile data connection. 
The functionality is expected to come to the iOS version of the app at some point in the near future.
