StartApp Launches SODA Social Targeting Solution

Mobile marketing platform StartApp has launched SODA, a social targeting solution. SODA aggregates billions of social profiles from a portfolio of its social app partners and then interprets it to give an understanding of user intent. SODA’s data will be drawn from more than 2.4bn unique mobile social users. The StartApp SDK is integrated in over 200,000 apps, including many of the leading social apps.

The SODA platform is launching in tandem with ‘SODA Bubbles’, an app within an app concept that enables users to complete cross-application actions, such as sharing a video or sending a payment, without leaving the original app.
“For years, the industry has recognized the immense value of user data on mobile social networks,” said StartApp CTO and co-founder, Ran Avidan. “However, no one had developed a technology platform to analyze that data to yield powerful, accurate, and actionable insights into users.
