Apple Expands iAd with Pre-roll Video and Interstitials

Apple has introduced new formats to its iAd platform, with pre-roll video and full-screen interstitial banner ad formats now available for iOS devices.
The interstitial ads scale up from 320×480 on older iPhones to 768×1024 on iPads, while pre-roll covers both the 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios, with 15-, 30- and 60-second units available.
The ad platform has also expanded into two new markets, Russia and Switzerland, bringing the total number of countries where iAd is available to 16.
