Ex-Bumble Marketing VP appointed Motorway CMO

Used car marketplace, Motorway, has appointed Naomi Walkland as Chief Marketing Officer, effective from from 20 May.

Walkland joined the company from Bumble, where she held the position of Vice President of Marketing. In this position she was responsible for leading the international marketing team, driving new customer and revenue growth outside of the US.

She was also part of the team to took the dating app public in 2021 and built and scaled the marketing team and operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC).

Meanwhile, in her new position, Walkland will report to Motorway CEO and Co-Founder Tom Leathes and will be responsible for the company’s marketing strategy.

She will also oversee brand and product marketing, growth marketing, communications, and business marketing.

Commenting on her appointment, Walkland said: “Motorway has defined a whole new market within the used car industry. I’m thrilled to join the Motorway team and contribute to the company’s momentum and growth.
