DAZN now lets viewers watch multiple games at once on the same screen

DAZN MultiViewDAZN, a fast-growing sports-focused live and on-demand video streaming service which boasts Cristiano Ronaldo as a global ambassador, has launched a feature which enables fans to watch multiple streams at the same time on one screen.

With ‘MultiView’, viewers can experience up to four live or on-demand sporting events from a single device. The feature has launched on fourth and fifth generation Apple TV devices and can be activated by long press using the Apple TV remote and select multiple videos to watch on DAZN. It’s gone live in the US, Canada, Japan, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and will launch in Spain and Brazil when its services goes live in the countries.

“DAZN is paving the way to a whole new sport watching experience,” said Ben Lavender, chief product officer at DAZN. “Compared to traditional linear TV, DAZN users now have the ability watch two, three or four games at once with a few clicks – it’s a game changer. The ‘MultiView’ function means fans never need miss a second of their favourite sports.”

DAZN’s launch in Spain will see it pick up the exclusive broadcast rights to MotoGP, the English Premier League, and EuroLeague basketball. In Brazil, it has secured the rights to the Copa Sudamericana, Serie A TIM, and Ligue 1. It promises more major rights announcements ‘soon’.
