Edwardian Group to Speak at the Mobile Travel & Tourism Summit

Hotel operator, Edwardian Group London, is the latest Travel brand to sign up to speak at the Mobile Travel & Tourism Summit in London on 2 April.
In a joint presentation, Amy Clarke, eCommerce manager at Edwardian, will talk about the company’s customer-facing app, while Michael Mirini, director of information technology will describe the housekeeping app developed by the company for internal use. Other companies speaking at the event include Carlson WagonLit, TUI Travel, Kabbee, Go-Ahead Travel, and global mobile marketing firm, Somo.
Yannick Barriol, director of global mobile marketing at Hotels.com, will give a presentation on responsive design and app marketing in the travel business. And in his presentation, Tony Sandler, founder and CEO of What Now?! Travel will look at the issues around data roaming charges, and explain how mobile users can make the most of their smartphone when abroad, without incurring a huge bill.
There’s plenty of original research on offer at the event. Hijazi Natsheh, deputy general manager, marketing, at Cleartrip, will explore how today’s increasingly mobile traveller uses their phone on their travels, while in his presentation, Nick Lane, chief analyst at research firm mobileSQUARED, will present the findings of an exclusive report into which Travel & Tourism brands and destinations have adopted a mobile strategy, and how effective this has been for them. The report will be available to delegates as part of the Delegate Pack.
Delegates will also hear from experts in all aspects of mobile marketing, offering advice on mobile app creation and promotion; mobile messaging; mobile advertising; and location-based services.
