Fans of the Fifty Shades series have the chance to experience the world of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, courtesy of a People VR exclusive. And, no, it is not that kind of experience.

To promote the upcoming release of Fifty Shades Darker, the second instalment of the erotic romantic drama series released worldwide 10 February, fans are given the opportunity to be part of one of the movie’s ‘most memorable scenes’. In the experience, fans become part of an elegant masked ball taking place at the Grey family mansion – joining the movie’s two protagonists and their guests.

Once fans have donned their mask, they make their way to ball to enjoy the evening – meeting both Christian and Anastasia, as well as Christian’s mother. Fans then get to join the couple on the dancefloor – before the experience ends with fans witnessing the pair heading upstairs and Anastasia telling Christian: “This time, no rules, no punishments, no more secrets”.

The experience can be viewed via 360° video or using VR goggles, through the Life VR iOS and Android apps.
