Liverpool-based Mobile Ad Tech Startup Wins Seed Investment

Branded Reality, a Liverpool-based ad tech startup, has received seed funding from a North West regional development body funded by the EU.

Branded Reality enables consumers to request product samples, ‘prompted by campaign collateral such as posters or magazines’, likely using image recognition, bringing mobile direct response capabilities to a tried and tested marketing method. The investment will further finance the development and marketing of the technology, which enables marketers to target their giveaways more precisely and get better quality feedback.

 It has not been revealed how much funding or equity has been agreed with the The North West Fund for Digital & Creative but the body, financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the European Investment Bank, gives startups between £50,000 to £2m to develop their business.
