MailOnline Apps Achieve Record Numbers in September

The MailOnline apps for iOS and Android both achieved new record numbers in September for global average daily unique visitors.
The iOS app achieved 576,000 visitors per day on average, with a record-breaking monthly total of over 1.2m, representing a 6.7 per cent increase month-on-month, and growth of 21.5 per cent year-on-year.
The Android app recorded slightly lower figures, with 377,000 unique visitors a day on average, but still saw its best ever month. 
The high levels of traffic through its mobile apps contributed to the MailOnline recording its best ever day for traffic, with 14.3m unique users accessing the website and apps on 2 September, an increase of over 55,000 on the previous record.
