Perion Extends App Partnership with Bing

perionApp monetisation company Perion has signed a three year agreement with Microsofts Bing search engine, extending its existing partnership.

The agreement enables Perions customers to incorporate Bing into their apps, significantly increasing their monetisation capabilities. It includes desktop and tablet distribution with limited exclusivity in the US, as well as mobile distribution.

The partnership is part of Perions shift from a web app monetisation platform to one with a more multichannel approach, that can help mobile app developers efficiently and effectively monetise the applications they build.

“We are committed to providing app developers with great solutions and working with Microsofy and Bing is an important part of that solution,” said Danielle Ullner, VP of search partnerships at Perion. “We are particularly excited by the fact that mobile is part of our agreement and that together we are focused on building out our end to end technology platform for developers across all devices.”

The agreement with Bing follows Perions recent purchase of Grow Mobile and will extend the companys offerings in mobile advertising, enabling app developers to buy, track, optimise and scale advertising campaigns from a single dashboard.
