Snapchat brings GIF stickers and Tabs for Stories

Snapchat GIF stickersSnapchat has given its users the ability to add GIF stickers from Giphy’s library to their posts. In a role reversal, the new feature comes just weeks after Instagram introduced similar to its Stories.

The GIF stickers are available after taking a photo or video through the ‘Sticker’ icon – like all other stickers – and enables users to scale the GIFs or add more than one to a Snap. The stickers are available to both Android and iOS users.

On top of the GIF stickers, Snapchat is rolling out Tabs feature, which helps users to organise Stories and keep up with the ones they want on the Friends and Discover pages. This update will enable users to sort through friends with active Stories, group chats, and subscriptions for publishers, creators, and the community in Discover. The feature will roll out to iOS users initially, while Android users can expect to see it over the next few weeks.
