Time Inc. launches Sports Illustrated streaming network on Amazon

Sports Illustrated TVTime Inc. is launching an over-the-top streaming network on Amazon Channels dedicated to its US sports media franchise, Sports Illustrated.

Sports Illustrated (SI) TV, which launches on 16 November, will premiere with 130 hours of on-demand programming including documentary series, weekly studio shows, and sports movies, documentaries and TV shows. Content available at launch will include The Vault, a documentary which takes a look back at SI’s most impactful stories over the years; The Crossover, a weekly basketball lifestyle show; Planet Futbol, a weekly look at soccer/football from around the world; and movies and documentaries such as Rocky, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Teen Wolf, Michael Jordan: Come Fly With Me, Racing Dreams, and more.

Sports Illustrated TV is available to Amazon Prime member in the US through Amazon Channels for $4.99 per month after a seven-day free trial. Content can be accessed through the Prime Video app on TVs, streaming media players, mobile devices, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire tablets, or online.
