kindle_10_gallery__467x400-420x0Samsung and Amazon have launched the Kindle for Samsung app, which will deliver Kindle eBooks to Samsung smartphones and tablets running Android 4.0 or above.

As part of the service, Amazon and Samsung will launch Samsung Book Deals for Kindle for Samsung users. This will offer 12 free eBooks a year to all referred Galaxy device customers who use the service. People can choose a free book from a selection of four different titles every month.

Kindle for Samsung offers millions of books, newspapers and magazines, including over 500,000 titles that are exclusive to the Kindle Store. Other features include Whispersync, which saves and synchronises the last page read; Time to Read, which shows how much time it will take to finish a chapter or a book based on personalised reading speed; and Worry-Free Archive, which automatically backs up the owner’s Kindle books to the cloud.

The app is available in over 90 countries now from Samsung apps. Apparently, though we could not find it just now when we searched for it on Samsungapps.com. We asked Samsung why not a few hours ago, still awaiting a response…
